It is with deep regret that we received the news that H.E. Cardinal Edoardo Menichelli, Titular of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Tor Fiorenza and Archbishop Emeritus of Ancona-Osimo, who has been ecclesiastical assistant of the Italian Catholic Medical Association (A.M.C.I.) has returned to the House of the Father.
We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude for his many years of dedicated service as spiritual assistant and adviser to the great family of Italian Catholic Doctors. Through his wisdom, kindness, and unwavering faith, he guided and inspired generations of Catholic physicians to live their vocation with integrity, compassion, and Christian witness.
His spiritual guidance and example of humble service will remain a lasting legacy among all who had the privilege to know him. We commend his noble soul to the mercy of God and pray that he may rest in eternal peace.
